The Department of Biology at the College of Science, Al-Nahrain University organized a scientific field visit to the Institute of Forensic Sciences, which was attended by a number of students from the department, accompanied by the department chair, Dr. Tania Tahseen Nima, and several faculty members.The visit aimed to familiarize students with the modern technologies and devices used at the institute, and to understand the practical applications of scientific knowledge in the forensic work environment, particularly in the fields of biological and forensic analysis. The visit included a field tour of the institute's departments, during which the students observed the work processes within specialized laboratories and learned about the latest equipment utilized in forensic examinations.Students expressed their significant benefit from the visit, which helped bridge the theoretical aspects of their studies with practical application, enhancing their understanding of their specialization's role in supporting justice and serving the community. This visit falls within the department's plan to expand academic cooperation and exchange experiences with educational and research institutions, contributing to the development of students' scientific and practical skills and preparing them for the job market.
